hi, title says it all really, I've googled and searched and come up with nothing.
Does anyone know where there's a list to work out when my brompton M6L was made, there must be a site out there but google doesn't seem to know where.

cheers

Why not give Brompton an email?
There is also some info about this on the Yahoo Brompton forum. It was a topic some time ago.

Maybe this might be of any help?

serial numbers:

0001000001
=
2000
January
first (fictional) bike with serialnumber Framenumber ±160000

0802088888
2008
february
the 88888st bike prduced since january 2000, Framnumber ±250000

Simon
and
With Simon's advice that the first 4 digits of the serial number are
year/month (i.e. 0802 = Feb '08), your comments complete the story,
with identification of manufacture date using the serial number
possible from Nov 2000.

The last time I dated a Brompton, it was all about the fold! Never again! She did have a nice rack, though.

(thank you, I'll be here all week. Try the veal)
