Pacific Northwest - Seattle: Anyone for a Christmas/New Year Ride

Bikeforums.net is a forum about nothing but bikes. Our community can help you find information about hard-to-find and localized information like bicycle tours, specialties like where in your area to have your recumbent bike serviced, or what are the best bicycle tires and seats for the activities you use your bike for.

I live in seattle (Capitol Hill), and I want to get some good rides in over my Christmas/New Years days off work.
Is anyone else interested in a social ride? I'm thinking anywhere from an hour to 4 hours. Whoever comes along can dictate pace and route - my setting go anywhere from tricycle speed to racer speed.
So - Anyone?

For New Years day and if you're adventurous and truly want to make it a 4 hr ride, you can either ride down to Tacoma and join us for the Olalla polar bear plunge ride (no jumping in required ;-) ), then make your way to Southworth ferry back to W. Seattle...sort of like a clockwise loop/route. Or do the reverse and meet up with us in Olalla, then ride to Tacoma and back up to Seattle via Des Moines (rolling hills) or Auburn (flat).

I'd be down for a ride on the 26th, if the weather's good. I'd prefer enough zoom for fun, but a speed that's manageable for those of us who may have eaten a little too much the night before. I'm up on Cap Hill as well.

sorry everyone - I ended up being sick... so I didn't get to ride.
hope you all got a good ride in, and a good christmas celebration :)
No worries - there's still time to come out for Opening Day (1-1-11, that is). See you there!
