I just bought a (2009) Trek 7500.. that has 700/35 tires...

I'm looking to buy a set of Fenders for it from PB, I'd like to buy the

Cascadia Hybrid/Touring Fenders in Silver/ Alum color. this way it would match my Ride.. But I was wondering If I decide to put a fatter tire.. lets say a 38 on it .. would the fender still accommodate a slightly larger tire?

I'm not even sure whether or not I can use a slightly larger tire or not.. But, I may wanna
try out a Hybrid tire that has nubs on the side and smooth center area..

Thanks,

in a perfect world, you would probably want 50mm fenders for those tires, but it will probably work. It really depends on the tires, sizes really don't tell you much about their actual width
