how hi can you bunny hop?

Let me be the first to say that was completely random ... I like it.

But back to the point, I have been trying to get my bunnyhops better for a while but I'm still jumping around a foot maybe alil more on a good day.

um i can bunnyhop about 1 1/2 feet

the higher you pull the bar up the higher you go. when at the top row the bar forward. push it from where it is(close to chest) to as far as you can push forward. i've bunnyhopped 3.5 feet high but that was 3-4 years ago. i've got on four foot ledges with my mtb though. big wheels help i guess! keep trying you'll get better.

for some reason i can bunnyhop much higher when theres an obstacle im clearing. i can easily bunnyhop up a 2.5ft ledge, but can only bunnyhop like 1.5 ft with no obstacles around.

Well my friend grinded a 4 foot loading dock thing when he was like 13.. He's amazing.. Only like 15 now.. incredible.. but yea, I hurt my wrists jumping off this thing and he feeble grinds it after less than 10 tries.. And your average handrail is probably a little over 3 feet.

Probably my best height was in the 3 foot range - cleared an inverted 33 gallon trash can entirely. So, probably a little higher than 3 feet to clear the entire thing. But, that was about 10 years ago now. :)

i have only been riding for 6 months and have a heavy bike but i can bunnyhop bout 3 feet already practice heaps with a heavy bike then when you get on a light one youll be able to bunnyhop high

i can get on any picnic table, i can stop in a manual on a 33 gal can then 360 off. i can most definately bunnyhop 3.5 or higher. all you have to do to get on a table is get your front tire up, then row the bars forward while pulling with feet.basically you land riding and endo. i ride trials so this is normal. check it out guys!

well you gotta learn sometime i guess, a bunnyhop is when you pull up the handlebars and kind of put your feet pointing towards the grond on your pedals and then pull up the back by pushing down on the pedals. a wheelie is when you pull up the front and pedal to keep it up. do manuals though, they are a lot cooler. I don't think my description made any sense at all, so check out bmxtrix.com and go to a tricks section. that guy knows a lot.

Nah, I'm full of it. Maybe 8-10 inches. I can't trust myself not to fly over the bars when the back wheel hits what I am trying to clear. I'm a 37 y/o guy, on a 20+ y/o Mongoose. The possibility of personal injury is high, but I am still having a blast.

i belive the highest bunnyhop ever recorded (i saw this in the guiness book of record) was like 44 inches.

they also said the longes endo held was 23 seconds, which i was like, ok not very long but it went on to say the guy did a wheelie on the front wheel for 23 sec without toughing the pedals. correct me if im wrong endos and wheelies are two different things.

Haha I have NO clue how high...umm I ride a Haro Backtrail X1 that is heavy as ****, but it seems like my light mountain bike is almost too lose to do very high. I just need my new freestyle mtb. But I am guessing 2foot range? More if there is an obstacle.

We spent 1/2 hour trying to get a bunny hop at night, 5th floor on the rooftop of a car park, with my digital camera,ET syle with the moon behind me, reckon 1 foot and 1/2 , hard to know without clearing an object of known height, i.e a 1Ft log or something, cool tho huh :)

i can bunny hop a whole inch! seriously. i put my weight forward than spring up and unweight the pedals. it seems like the back wheel comes up before the front. when i stand with my weight in the middle i can't jump at all
