Bicycle Mechanics - Small surface rust on bladed spokes... any issues?

I am getting ready to do the early spring maintenance and noticed tiny areas of surface rust and tiny pitting on my Askium Race spokes approx. 8-10 for both front and back? Is there any means for concern? These do not seem to be that major and the bike handles fine. I realize that this will not go away, but thought I would throw this out to see if this is something that I should replace now or can I wait.

You should be able to lightly steel wool that to get it off. I would be more worried about corrosion between the nipples/spoke interface if theres rust like that.

I checked for that and everything appears OK. If the steel wool removes any paint can I use a flat black automotive touch up paint?

I would suggest using a paint that specifically indicates it inhibits rust.

It's possible for some stainless alloys to oxidize, put I don't think I've ever seen rusty stainless spokes.
