ARgh. My old bar-end lights are dying, and the nice set I saw from Knog are discontinued (the Tadpoles). any other good looking bar-end lights? Something bright and blinky, and not too expensive. Seems like there are really only about 2 different designs, under about 5 different brand names.

Are you talking about these?

I've used them in the past - good idea but they are not very dependable. You are better off with a tail blinkie as far as being visible goes.

I recommend the Bontrager (http://bontrager.com/model/06988) / Soma ones, because they use 1 AAA per side, instead of multiple button batteries per side. That way, you can run rechargeables.
