This is a 2010 Giant brand hybrid bicycle , 18 speed...3 gears up front, 6 gears on back , all aluminum . I dont have the battery mounted yet , but all other components are on the bike. I put the controller on the front tube that is on a 60 degree angle. I fastened it there with 2 self tapping srews and put 1 thick rubber washer inbetween to work as a shock absorber.

Looking good. Do the motor wires reach the controller? All my hubs the wires are shorter. Might would recommend flipping the controller so the wires are out the rear. That way rain might be less likely to get in.

this is the bike I was thinking of putting a 1 wheeled caster trailer on.

there is plenty of length of wires to reach....I wont be riding in rain so thats no worry..I wanted the controller near the front, so it could recieve the most cooling effect when riding.
