"The 33"-Road Bike Racing - Your guilty pleasure...

Bikeforums.net is a forum about nothing but bikes. Our community can help you find information about hard-to-find and localized information like bicycle tours, specialties like where in your area to have your recumbent bike serviced, or what are the best bicycle tires and seats for the activities you use your bike for.

Organic whole wheat wheat thins. Yes they're healthier than the regular ones but they're still loaded with fat.
Parmagiano and peanut butter are staples in our house.

I think of all the people on this board, my music cred is rather near the top :-)
The point wasn't that my link was Ashkenazy playing Chopin's Nocturnes - but that it was, "A guilty pleasure is something one enjoys and considers pleasurable despite feeling guilt (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Guilt) for enjoying it. The "guilt" involved is sometimes simply fear of others discovering one's lowbrow (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Lowbrow) or otherwise embarrassing (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Embarrassing) tastes. Fashion, music,[1] (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Guilty_pleasure#cite_note-0) and junk food (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Junk_food) can be examples of guilty pleasures.[2] (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Guilty_pleasure#cite_note-1)"

Actually, I just stopped feeling guilty about it. I just deal with it and ride or workout more because of it.

Asians..... o wait you didn't mean that. whoop.
Personally, sweets are my main downfall, and all those reality shows. they're like a car crash you don't want to look, but you cant look away.
Teuscher champagne truffles, Chianti Classico and Fergie in no particular order. If I have to choose one.... Teuscher truffles.

It is what it is and I'm just enjoying the ride.

I'm partial to La Maison du Chocolat champagne truffles. I haven't had those or Teuscher in years. Right now, I'd go for either. I wouldn't say I feel guilty about it, though.
My guilty pleasures are cheesy mashups and Dogfish Head 60 minute IPA. And Oreos. Double stuff.

You're going to be a doctor before I am, and my fate is yet to be written.
I like white zinnies because you can get decent ones cheap. Cheap red wine tastes like vinegar.
A recent, and delicious, discovery has been vinho verde. A local portuguese store has 6 dollar bottles that are delicious.

I don't think two buck-chuck does.
Always pisses me off when I go to a restaurant, pay $8-12 for a glass of wine and it isn't as good as a $2 bottle of Charles Shaw.

Anything my wife bakes. Pies, cookies, cakes.
Cheap red wine tastes like vinegar.
Quit drinking mad dog.
You can get really good inexpensive reds for $2-6 if you know what you're looking for. See the "two buck chuck" comment above, the wife and I usually go for the Spanish or Italian table wines.

guilty pleasure = KFC.
There is a KFC on my drive home from the LBS where I train, and hungry after a workout I sometimes can't stop myself from going there. I try to remind myself that training isn't worth a dime if I fuel my body with crap. . . but then I stop for KFC anyway because it tastes good.

Yeah. I don't really like 2 buck chuck reds. I'm actually just starting to develop a taste for reds. Whites have always tasted better to me.
Cheez-its. Any time they're around a whole box is in danger.
Ice cream and home made chocolate sauce. My grandmother taught me how to make it when I was about 7.

Mint + chocolate. Any form works.
Crappy reality TV on the rare occasion that I have access to cable. There's a really cute guy that works out at my gym at the same time I do. Last week I was on the treadmill switching between "16 and Pregnant" and "The Millionaire Matchmaker" when he walked by. I frantically tried to flip to CNN but I think I was busted.

It was tongue in cheek. I was a nightclub DJ in the 80's and 90's. I have a huge collection of 12" disco singles. You have plenty of ammo.
