Fifty Plus (50+) - Another bike oddity to consider
Bikeforums.net is a forum about nothing but bikes. Our community can help you find information about hard-to-find and localized information like bicycle tours, specialties like where in your area to have your recumbent bike serviced, or what are the best bicycle tires and seats for the activities you use your bike for.

I am not sure how or why this would be an advantage but take a look:

Plenty of wierd bikes around--Some will NEVER catch on
I'm guessing the pedal stroke would feel a bit different. Never having pedaled on anything but a bike with the drive on the right side, I have no awareness of what actual difference may exist in workload on each leg with a single side drive. Could it be a more equal distribution, or require more pressure on the down-stroke on the left side than one usually gives?

Still trying to figure out how you can do arm curls and triceps exercises with this thing as they claim. Maybe you just use the bike like as set of dumb bells and do them?
