That's ok. Most of us are senile enough that we had forgotten it. But.....um......Doohickie, you aren't even 50 yet. What's your excuse?

Ya know, the first thing to go when you get old is your memory. The second is.... um... what was I saying?

No....it's not, my 20 year old son laughed, that qualifies it as sick and twisted!

I was a reluctant convert to texting but do a lot of it now, simply due to the fact that it's the default means of communication for my godsons and younger relations. One exception is my 15 year old cousin, who actually likes to talk with me on the phone (he hardly texts anyone) and prefers skiing to snowboarding. I think he popped out of a time warp somewhere.

My wife and I have found that texting is the only way to communicate with our 17-year old daughter. All other methods result in emotional outbursts or sullen silence...

I didn't even know that my phone COULD text until recently. Who knew? I thought it was a phone.
