Just wondering if these are compatible with each other. I read that the Dura Ace TT78 isn't compatible with the newer shimano groups(I don't know the reason why) Since Rival is of the same vintage, I'm worried it would not be compatible. SRAM says Rival is only compatible with their own hardware obviously for monetary reasons, but has anyone tried these combos?

thanks

They work fine.

It's the new 10s road brakes that are 'incompatible', with all other shimano STI's.

Has Shimano changed the cable pull for their new stuff just cause they can?
