My LBS owner knows that I have been showing interest in a IF Steel Crown Jewel. He has one that he built a few years ago with mostly Campy components. It also has carbon aero wheels and tubulars. He loaned it to me today for a test ride.
I know there's a psycological issue about riding a new bike, but I swear I believe that this was the sweetest riding bike that I've experienced. Bridgestone RB-1 was nice also, buit couldn't ompare with this. Add a carbon fork and carbon seat post and the ride should be phenomenal. I was trying to hold off on N+1 until next Fall, but I don't believe I'm capable.
This will be a great addition to the stable.
