just getting into this sport and have looked at these 2 bikes in my price range, im only going to be doing upto medium trail riding and mayby some jumping when i get more use to the sport i guess. now the dude in the shop says they are dead even in specs cos the 05 model V3 comes with disk brakes now to match the diamondback and in overall pricing the diamondback is a mchappy meal better. bearing in mind i dont know much about mountainbiking at this stage, what would anyone recommend out of the two?
