Singlespeed & Fixed Gear - Robriguez Funny Bike

A friend of mine is lending this to me to try for a bit. Robriquez Frame and whole mix of parts. A real bastard.

I haven't taken it out for a ride yet, needs a few adjustments to the seat height.

can someone clear up some ignorance on my part....
pursuit geom frames are designed to have crazy aggressive ride position specifically for track racing, right? what type of bars typically go on pursuit frames?

because i keep seeing pursuit frames with risers or stems like on this one. or both.

Actually, there are very few human beings that could ride that bike, period. Even on the track, it would require a rider with a pursuit physique, long very flexible torso. You won't see any sprinter types riding a bike like that.

I like the way pursuit bikes look. But TT is right, No one is that alien now a days

I would honestly ride that.

He does have a stem with a little less, er, vertical to it with bullhorns. He threw these on for me to try and more "comfy" ride. The 650 wheels are sooo teeny though! I haven't had the ride yet. Bit busy.

I'll find out. What he did tell me is that he got it from the frame-builder who built it for himself, and that he has taken it out on a track in Seattle.
