Hi Gang,
It's been years since I posted and I didn't fit the Clydesdale forum back then. I don't think there was one. Anyway, I could stand to drop a good 50+ lbs this off season in hopes of doing some brevets this spring. I'm fortunate enough to have a set of rollers and a fluid trainer. I started riding the rollers this week .I haven't done the trainer yet. Looking for some advice for a good program to follow with the 2 different devices. Unfortunately over the past couple of years the only thing that has stayed consistent has been my food intake.
Thanks.

I'm trying to trim off 25# this winter and have been simply eliminating liquid calories. I know you immediately think of alcohol and soft drinks and that's a ton, but there is also juice, dairy, soups, sauces, gravies, condiments and dressings. It's simpler than you think and every time you liquify a food, you can consume more calories without feeling full. So removing them removes large caloric intake without changing the diet much. Seems to be working so far.
