Singlespeed & Fixed Gear - Bike Build Need Critics and Ideas, Please

Hey, was bored and I thought Id post a build Im gonna be doing hopefully before summer comes along. Im looking for a little help to maybe shave some money off if possible, cause its pretty spensive. Here we go....

Frame: Leader 722ts (Black) - $279.00
Fork: Leader S805 Carbon Fork - $159.00
Crankset: Miche Primato Advanced Track Chainset 48t - $124.86
Cog: Miche 16t cog - $13.61
BB: Miche Primato Track Bottom Bracket - $14.68
Saddle: Selle Concor Supercorsa (Black) - $83.74
Stem: Cinelli Pista Stem - $30.16
Handlebars: Cinelli Pista Track Drops - $76.59
Headset: FSA Orbit MX - $29.98
Seatpost: Miche Supertype (Black) - 74.99

So Ive change some stuff around, still looking for a Miche drivetrain But now its under 1000 which is great. Now all thats left is a wheel set, maybe some custom H+Son or something. Not really sure yet, any ideas?

For starters, the FSA ZS3 isn't going to work in that frame. You need a traditional 1 1/8" threadless headset, not a zero stack. I recommend the FSA Orbit-X for around the same price.

The track bike "build kit" seems very incomplete for $650. You could buy many decent complete bikes for that price.

a "build kit" usually includes EVERYTHING you need other than frame and fork.

for pedals try the Exustar PT12 Track style pedal set. http://www.wabicycles.com/pedal_options.html

Or a pair of old miche's with cristophe toe clips and lapize straps like im rocking. Love these things.

I might end up just buying it all sperate anyway. It will definitely turn out alot cheaper then 650.

PricePoint have a lot of headsets for a really good price, including the Orbit MX.

Tbh, I don't think that groupset is really worth it. You could get wheels are a low low price at Wabi and Miche Advanced track crankset could had for $126 at Ribble. A little bit of digging, I'm sure you could find a lot of components on the "Reliable Online Retailer" thread.

Oh those are quite nice, I might go clipless actually, but well see.

Yeah, this was just a quick post, I wanted to get some ideas and input. Im probably gonna do more digging and piece together something a little "cheaper".
