I saw some awesome pants at EMS Marlboro, MA (Solomon Pond Mall) before Christmas and thought they would make great pajamas but wouldn't splurge over $100 on them. then recently saw them marked down and on sale for $55. at the Acton, MA store. I'm wearing them now around the house and I love them.
thinking about trying them on under my Novara Headwind pants for a walk in the snow.
these would make a good thermal layer for subfreezing commutes providing you had a good outerlayer and suitable liner
