LibriVox volunteers record chapters of books in the public domain and release the audio files back onto the net. The goal is to make all public domain books available as free audio books. You can download them and sync them up with your ipod, mp3 player, etc. My favorites are Mark Twain, H. G. Wells and Edith Nesbit. The recording in question is a story by H. G wells. Summary as follows:
“The Wheels of Chance – A Bicycling Idyll” follows the adventures of a Drapers Assistant who, having brought an ancient bicycle, sets off on a 2 week tour of the countryside. He encounters a Lady in Grey wearing rationals (bloomers). And his world will never be the same again"
I started to listen to it this morning on the way to work and it seems like it has potential for those who would appreciate it.

Bikeforums.net is a forum about nothing but bikes. Our community can help you find information about hard-to-find and localized information like bicycle tours, specialties like where in your area to have your recumbent bike serviced, or what are the best bicycle tires and seats for the activities you use your bike for.
