Singlespeed & Fixed Gear - KHS urban uno

I was wondering what people thought of the KHS urban uno. I am interested in using it to commute(15mi round trip), exercise, and general urban travel. What do people think of this bike for these applications. I can get this bike for around 470, is this a quality ride for the money? Are the components any good?

that bike is a little pricey for 500 dollars. If i had 500 dollars and i really need to make a commuter, I'd get a nice comfortable mountain bike with slick tires.

i personally like commuting on a fixed gear, seems like a good way to maximize the exercise you can get from a short distance. the money seems a little much BUT! for a bike you'll have to make probably no ersizechanges to it seems nice, and as long as the money isn't a huge issue, go for it.
