Hoping that someone has an answer for me!
Everyone knows that the nuts or bolts on square taper cranks are 14mm, right?
Well I've come across one that isn't, it's slightly bigger but doesn't seem to fit any of my other sockets.
Any ideas?

Could be 15 or 16mm, which used to be common.

I tried 15mm, but my socket maybe has too thick a wall as it wouldn't fit past the thread on the crank. I'll have to see what else I have hidden in the toolbox
