A fine old 1970s cotter pinned piece of New Zealand's bicycle history was stolen on the tenth of January 2011 allegedly by Ben's gang of Roslyn, Dunedin. I believe these bikes were the forerunners of the Morrison Industries Dynasty of Steelmasters, Freeways and Monarks.
She had a solid medium blue paint job as original with black upper case font graphics of Master on the front downtube. New gum walled tyres. Rims were a little rusty, black bar tapes on the drop bars but it was all there and original 1975 and ten speed. Even the quarrelsone woman at Dunedin Central Police Station had heard of the old MASTER brand of bicycle...showing her age ( : Skateboarders are believed to be the culprits and may or may not live in the street where the bike was removed from under covers in a driveway during surge of vandelism on a number of Honda Cities and other cars in the second week of January 2011.
