Fifty Plus (50+) - I should use my head and go to the Gym.

Bikeforums.net is a forum about nothing but bikes. Our community can help you find information about hard-to-find and localized information like bicycle tours, specialties like where in your area to have your recumbent bike serviced, or what are the best bicycle tires and seats for the activities you use your bike for.

The brain benefits from being used, so that, in a neat circle, resistance training may both demand and create additional brain circuitry. Imagine what someone like Einstein might have accomplished if he had occasionally gone to the gym. See:

I should use my head and go to the Gym... That's in addition to riding my bike, of course.

I'll have to forward this to my coach. He seems to think it is important to have balance without moving and perscribes excersizes that are preparing me for the circus or Cirque Du Soleil.

Doesn't the story go that as he rode toward a clock tower exceeding the speed of light that the clock hands moved backwards?
You may have noticed that phenomenon yourself. :)

It is also said he'd poo in his pants while working on his theories because he was too preoccupied to bother to go to the bathroom.
