am looking for any info on a conti brand road i have just put back on the road ,it appears to consist of carbon tubes jointed to alloy lugs , the bottom of the lower lug tells me it was made in france? there is a fleur de lys emblem & the letters conti on the head tube& stickers saying conti on the down tube. the frame is not painted, the carbon tubes are blackish& the lugs are shiney alloy.i obtained the frame only & have built the bike up using mainly european parts the friction gear shifters are down tube mounted, i suspect this bike would not had flight deck type changers.it certainly looks the part. any info? will post images later

I used to import Conti bicycles from Mario Conti of Florence Italy. The frames are colored with some kind of anodizing process he used. I still ride mine. It is a dream. When I take it in for any kind of service, the shop personnel go wild. It is a super nice machine and I will bet will perform against any current day ride on the competition circuit. I have a race geometry frame and a touring frame. The racing set up was made custom for me by Mario, who I will assume is no longer here on Earth.
