it dosent matter with what bike you start, its always good to start with a good bike but it really dosent matter, a haro m5 is very good..

a DK signal is better
my opinion and im sure bmxtrix agrees(as a beginner bike)

try reading some of the old forums because ur probably the 60th guy to ask that and i bet bmxtrix is gettin sik of explainin why the dk signal is the best

a haro m5 is a very good bike to start with.and even wen u get good itll still b good jst gotta get some new parts like a new stem and sprocket

Yes, it's a good bike - but the DK Signal gives you more bang for the buck money-wise. The Signal has a freecoaster - STOCK - the Haro does not. The price for both bikes is very close, so why not get the one that gives you more stuff for your money?

Haro has come a long ways in the past couple of years, but the Master frame is still a hybrid street/flat frame and is not a true flatland specific frame yet. The DK Signal is the way to go unless you MUST buy from your local shop, in which case go with the M5 and deal with the loss of extras that you could have gotten for your money.
