Just a thought. Seems it would be nice to sort the members list by their location or even age.

The only time this would be a problem is if someone didn't mention their age, or if they don't put where they're from. Some folks like to be totally incognito on the forums, so you could tend to miss a bunch of people with that kind of search. :( But it still sounds like a good idea!

It would be nice to be able to search for those looking to ride in a group on a weekend or some such. Not date specific but by area so that some dialog could be started. Totally voluntary of course.

True... but if they don't put that info in, then it is their loss. I think it is interesting to see who lives near by and maybe hook up for a ride.
...not like anything is really incognito on the internet anyway ;)
