I have a 1983 Raleigh Olympian (502 Raleigh Tubing = 4130 Standard Chromo)
I now also have a 1982 Team Fuji frame (331 Reynolds Chromo) that I got for free.
I use my Olympian (Lou, after the Guitar Hero boss), for everything: commuting, exploring, weekend 40m-65m adventures, mountain climbing, and planning on some Touring around California or Japan in the near future. I know the bike is built as a touring/racing hybrid, and I should not have touring structural problems. I use the durable stock 27 ARAYA wheels that came with the bike.

(not what I have, but what the stock build looks like)
The Fuji my fiance bought on eBay for $20, and decided to gift to me instead of building it up herself. We looked at the 1982 catalog and it seems that there is not much difference between the 1982 Fuji America (their touring model), and their Team Fuji, other than components. It looks like the fork is Chromo on the Fuji made for touring, but my Olympian does not have one either, so im not worried.

Are my fiance and I right to conclude that a 1982 Team Fuji is a touring frame?
If it is a touring frame is it a better touring frame than the 1983 Olympian?
-on a site note for those of you looking for something entertaining in this thread: I found a sealed Phil Woods bottom bracket cartrige and cups when I took the frame apart today. So its already paid for itself, on top of being possibly better than my main ride.
