Can you say EXCITED?!?!

I can. The sleet that fell tonight makes me think that there's a chance that by the end of October I might be riding on my Nokians. Going to mount them when I get off work, and have them ready for the inevitable.

This is gonna be a fun winter!

Oh Northern winter, how fondly I remember thee.... Got my first taste of snow and sleet season here in Hawaii tonight. Unfortunately
it's a deadly serious condition when you're on top of a mountain with a steep slick road between you and safety, so I couldn't really enjoy
it. Had to join the convoy of observatory refugees evacuating the summit as the snow started to accumulate. Hopefully some white
stuff will stick around until morning so we can see it from Hilo. Unfortunately no bike up here on Mauna Kea. :)
