I got this from a different forum....
Years ago there was a man that drank, and drank, and drank.. his wife nagged him constantly to quit drinking..
She was at her wits end and told home "one day you are going to drink too much and throw your guts up and regret ever drinking the first drop" he told her she didnt have a clue about what she was saying and went back to drinking..
Weeks later the wife was in the kitchen cooking supper and had gutted a chicken in the sink but ran back outside to finish getting the feather off..
The husband was in the den watching tv and drinking (as usual).. All at once he felt really sick and rushed into the kitchen and threw up in the sink..
About that time the wife came back into the kitchen and the husband ran up to her saying " you were so right, I should have never doubted you, Im so sorry I didnt listen to you!" She was clueless to what he was talking about but finally got the story out of him what happened..
She asked what did he do after he threw up.. He replied "by the grace of god and a long handled spoon i was able to get them back down!"
