Hey there all. Former roadie and racer now a commuter and possibly tourer from Central Texas. I wanted to do some touring in Europe or Asia with my new Trek 520, but don't know anyone interested.
Have been parking the car of late and using my bike for most trips. I have a little game I play to try to maximize my time between fill ups. The 2nd of February will have been a month so I guess the 30 degree mornings haven't dissuaded me.
Lots of roadies down here, some commuters but most cyclists are still probably either UT students or hipsters. They care a lot about the color of their accessories but live and let live as they say around here. Cheers.
