I've got a wild story of what has started to shape my type of cycling. I'm in my freshman year, and about two months into the semester my Trek 7000 was stolen. I was bike less for about a month before I started looking into the single speed/ fixed gear option. It really made more sense for my type of riding since I had not been getting out on the trails much. I picked up an old panasonic frame and built a fixie. Now, the second semester has started and about two weeks in I was walking back to my dorm after a night out at the bars. I see my old Trek and sure enough it's not locked up. I then grab it and ride it back. Although it had been severely mistreated i was ecstatic to get it back. So now I have two bikes in my dorm room:D That's my story as of now.
