Doesn't it come with one? My Edge 705 certainly did.
I think I've heard that the Edge 500 has a different mount than the 705 (and the 205/305/605/705 certainly does have a mount you can buy separately), but a few seconds of googling for "handlebar mount edge 500" found this -- http://www.amazon.com/Garmin-mount-quick-release-quarter/dp/B002NU6J1Y/ref=tag_dpp_lp_edpp_img_in

If you bought it new it came with two mounts in the box.
