so bought a 97 Giant Ingunna for $25 bucks :) looks great only problem is its a 16 in frame and im needing like a 19-20 in frame
SO questions are, what are the difference in quality between (are not trek and giant about the same) and diamondback or any other brands?
looking at the diamond back in here, looks like a 17 in frameish? or what, and that price is way to high i was thinking offering like 25 max (thats what i paid for my fully operable Giant) looks like needs a new rim and can use a good cleaning and that.
Any thoughts would help thanks :)

Bikepedia lists the 97 Iguana available in 14.5 and 17.5".
The DB looks like a step down to me, mainly judging by the cranks. Seems more like a $3xx bike than a $4xx bike.
Frame might be just as good as an Iguana, though. A model name on the DB would be helpful.

sorry wrong year and its a 96 Iguana SE, 16" frame
and okay, but how do DB handle?, and I have no idea about the Model, the problem is i need a 19.5 or 20 frame for actual biking (i'm 6' 1" and about 160)
or could just buy the DB as a fixer-up and decide if i want it over the giant, but i think i'll keep the giant, for a campus-get-me-round bike
I don't think the DB is worth 70 with the messed up front wheel
Heck, for my giant, guy wanted 50 for it on CL in OKC, i called him up got him to go to 30 (depending upon the condition of the bike) said it was bit bad and got it for 25 :)

I don't think the DB is worth 70 dollars brand new.
Whoever selling that **** is on crack, AVOID!

Hahaha, indeed. That bike should probably be $70 in perfect riding condition.

If I was you, I'd have a hard time not selling off the Iguana and buying this bike, assuming it's in as good a shape as it looks in the tiny, backwards pics. Might be too small for ya, though. 17.5"
Up for sale is a carbon fiber Univega CB s8-3 with Shimano XT shifters, brakes and derailleur. It also has Mavic rims and a Girvin inverted fork. All is original except the cranks and front derailleur. It is a size medium frame, and I'm not sure what year it is. Sorry for the backwards pics.
Asking $250 OBO
Hate to let it go but I have no place to keep it.
Email me if you have any questions. Thanks.
