Had a big crash? How did you heal? I recently went down on asphalt in a BMX race. I had a huge bruise that seized my leg. I ended up using R.I.C.E. (http://recessionbiker.blogspot.com/2011/01/healing-power-of-rice.html) but everyone seemed to have their own special suggestions.
Here is the question,
What is your VooDoo remedy for healing up quickly after a crash?

Quickly? I always just suffer.

Pee on your wounds every time you have to pee. If it's a place you can't reach with your own urine, (like your back or hip), have your significant other pee on it, or just collect your pee in a bottle and pour it on the wound within five minutes of collecting the urine.
I just ride through it, and suffer when I'm not riding. That, and small steady doses of alcohol......
Margaritas do wonders.

Only time I have been incapacitated after a fall was when I pulled a muscle and could not walk.Still rode home with both feet on the pedals but only able to put pressure on with the good leg. Plenty of spills when mountain biking and bruises and cuts galore. Bruises and get on with it. May hurt but no real damage. Cuts and a plaster but the problem is where you get road/trail rash. They sting for a long time. This will make your eyes water but I learnt it from the medics when I was in the Marines. Surgical spirit. Yes it will hurt for about 30 seconds or so but you then have a couple of hours relief before it comes back again.
