What fork has a carbon fiber crown and stear tube? I saw it on, I think it was a s-works epic.

It was a ROCK SHOX SID! What color where the lowers?
Did it have a remote lock-out on the handlebar?

I saw him again and chased him down The forks are indeed sidís The bike is all black. No remote lockout. No disc brakes. The lowers were flat black, the kind of black you paint the inside of a telescope with. Everything even the ti seat-rails is black. He wanted to heft my Everest and was surprised at its 21 lbs., but not as surprised as I was at the lack of weight of his ride. Lighter than my hard tail by about 2 lbs I would guess.
Can anyone on these boards attest to the trail worthiness of this mount? My interest is severely peeked.
