Retrogression carries track drops? What's happening?

We used to sell Nitto track drops but didn't sell enough so we dropped them. We get a ton of requests for Deda Pistas.

Of course you have to stock them right after I buy FSA Omega bars... Damnit!
If only I wasn't holding out for the Zero100's... I'd buy another set. Any chance you can find me a 40cm zero100 in polished metal scrod?
Scrodzilla
10-07-11, 07:51 PM
Zero 100's will be here early next week. They don't make 40cm - although Deda bars are measured outside to outside so the 42s are closer to typical 40cm bars. We're only getting black and white though.
Deda RHM 02 compact drop handlebars are amazing. highly recommend.

The calv is long gone. Our fall/winter jacket will be available very soon.

If you end up making an extra small (euro small) I'd be pretty tempted to pick one up. I think I just need to skip across the pond if I want to actually find close that fit.

If you have a 1 1/8" Top cap, can I give you some $$$ to throw it in the same shipment as my bar/stem order?
Scrodzilla
10-11-11, 10:11 AM
Of course! I'll dig around in the parts bin and let you know.

Just curious, I see the Omniums(and S300) are lighter(with the BB) than these. Isn't aluminum usually stiffer than CF too? What is the advantage of a carbon crankset?

Scrod,
I want to make the plunge into compact drops. Is there a reason why your Hood Rat bars are on sale? Should I pony up for the RHM 02s?
Scrodzilla
10-13-11, 02:38 PM
No reason other than the price being low. A lot of people have been wanting to give compacts a try and we figured we'd put an inexpensive option out there so if someone buys them and ends up not digging them all that much, they won't be out a a lot of money.

This is why we love Scrod.
I'm excited for the stem/handlebars to come in. The flatter bars must be suuuuuuper comfy.
Loving the look of the new website scrod.

Hey Scrod,
Just placed an order for the Vtrack + Sylvans and the Kool Stop bead jack. I also sent a message through RG about my shipping address (paypal is iffy sometimes).
Super psyched man, can't wait for them to get here. Thanks a bunch.

Argh, the hood rats look nice, but the flat surface won't work with my current braking set up :(
I think having a dummy brake and a real one might work. We'll see what's in my future!

Yeahhhhh, I was thinking the same. I bought them anyways, I'll figure out the brake situation when they get here lol.

Why? Unless you have lower back problems and issues with long reach I don't see any problem with hoods besides spending some more $$$.

Fair enough. I'm still debating on that or a carbon fork. Mainly just for better tire clearance haha. Black should look fine on my white bike, but I don't think chrome would work since everything on there is either white or black.
Scrodzilla

A chrome fork always looks good IMO.
