scrod could you add a 'new item' section or make the current one bigger? I would've missed all the stuff that was there yesterday had I not gone since it's a new batch today

Stay on your toes, son.

How would you compare the Concor to the Turbo? Similar?

Scrodzilla
01-26-12, 03:45 PM
I love my Turbos but in all honesty, the Concor Supercorsa is the most comfortable saddle I have ever placed my backside upon. Angie borrowed mine and liked it so much, she never gave it back. Now that we (finally!) stock them, I'll be putting one on my Kagero ASAP.

Excellent, just what I like to hear. I'll be ordering one with my next order!

Selle San Marco has proven to me they aren't very good at making saddles (for me, at least).

Saw the Dodici Gara and am very very very pleased.

Any pics of a build you've completed, Scrod?

Gara looks very nice, albeit outta my price range :(

Glad to see some love for the big men out there :D

Great price on the concor as well, looking for a classic looking saddle for my bianchi may have to spring for it, didn't like the turbo tbh

Already putting together another list of parts needed because the wife wants to try fixed now. Glad to see some Soma cogs back in stock for now.

Are things settling down at RG HQ?

Scrodzilla
01-31-12, 09:33 PM
Yeah, we've pretty much got everything in place and it's getting easier to keep up with everyday stuff. We've got about a metric **** ton of new stock coming in so expect a lot more new stuff to be hitting the site very soon.

Also - I'm putting it out there that we can now special order just about anything...

Shaweeeeet. In march I think I'll actually finish my leader to the point I want it to be.

Scrod, how much would it be to have you build a set of A23 or Arrowheads (I can't decide between the two), black 32h NMSW rear, MSW front to novatecs?

Scrodzilla
02-01-12, 09:45 AM
Just purchace the rims, hubs, spokes, etc. on the site and I'll invoice you via Paypal for the labor ($35 per wheel).

Finally found the thread.. :P

Can't wait to get my Exustar straps.

Am I supposed to receive an email/tracking number when it ships? All I got was the conformation from Paypal when I bought it a few days ago.

Scrodzilla
02-01-12, 06:56 PM
Angie shipped your straps the day after your order came in and you should have received an automated e-mail with tracking info.

PeDDeR27

Oh it shipped, sweet! Haven't got them email with the tracking info, though. Weird.

EDIT: Thanks for the link, Scrod.

No but more will be here in about a week.

Scrodzilla
02-04-12, 07:02 AM
As I posted on our 'news/updates' page and Facebook:

The shop will be closed this coming week (Monday 2/6 - Friday 2/10) because we are skipping town and visiting Angie's folks in Florida. Any online orders placed from now until the 10th will be processed and shipped as soon as we return.

I just want to keep everyone in the know so you're not like "where the hell did he go and why haven't they shipped my damn stuff?"

Some new things will be hitting the site very soon, including All-City New Sheriff hubs, All-City Big Block framesets, Halo track hubs, and more...

Scrod's vacation photos look like a terrifying 90s acid trip. With nice scenery. And crustaceans.

My opinion.

I didn't realize that you guys were going off the grid so soon. I would've held off on the order, but I'm in no rush for new bars.

I didn't feel like reading this book of a thread, but has anyone noticed any kind of returning customer loyalty or anything of the likes? It would be nice to get slight discounts on apparel, stickers, or anything else that would just help promote. I would be fine with something arbitrary like a stem shifter from an old ****ter bike. Its refreshing though to see such a large selection of good parts in one place now.

Scrodzilla
02-07-12, 08:47 AM
Sorry, man. We had the trip to visit Angie's folks planned and plane tickets paid for back in October. With everything going on regarding getting the new shop open, the date kinda snuck up on us.

We do occasionally offer coupon codes but because we like to keep most of the prices on the site considerably low in the first place, we kinda feel it's not very necessary to do all the time. It's also common practice to throw in some free stickers and other goodies along with each order.

Thanks for the support. It's appreciated!

Hey I remeber you use to have foer rims what happend to them?

Scrodzilla
02-09-12, 07:58 AM
Not enough people were buying them so we took them off the site once our in-house stock was gone.

We can still special order them and they only take an extra day or two to get here if you're interested.

Is the SRAM Omnium chainline dimension 41mm or 42mm? I have heard both.

Scrodzilla
02-10-12, 06:39 AM
I believe it's 42mm. Either way, a mm isn't going to kill anyone.

Thanks. Trying to do a build myself for the first time. Wasn't sure how important the difference was.

Aw, I just went to your site, Scrod, to see if you were still doing the Kinlin build kits, but it doesn't look like you have those anymore.

When did you take those down? I've been gone a while. :(

Wrong thread to be asking.

Posted in the correct thread now. ^^

Scrodzilla
02-11-12, 04:34 PM
Thanks. I don't want this to become RetrogressionForums.net.

We took them down because it was causing too much confusion. Some people couldn't seem to grasp the fact that a build kit doesn't mean wheelset and were extremely unhappy when we shipped them a bunch of parts instead of complete wheels. I thought we were very clear in the description but.........

At any rate, we adjusted the prices so when you choose rims, spokes, nipples, hubs, etc and put them in your cart, the total adds up to the same price as the wheel build kits. In fact, some combos actually cost less.

PluperfectArson
02-11-12, 06:03 PM
Aight, thanks for the response.

Do you know what shipping usually is out here to Hawaii? Zip code would be 96782.

I've never built a wheel before, but want to learn how to do it, been looking at the Kinlins for a while now, to replace the stock TT Pro ones. Also, do you usually ship the correct spoke lengths if you know how someone wants to lace the wheels?

Scrodzilla
02-11-12, 07:20 PM
Not sure off the top of my head but shipping to HI is typically the same as anywhere else in the US and is calculated during checkout.

I'll calculate spoke lengths for you depending on which rims you choose and what lacing you want to go with.

PluperfectArson
02-11-12, 08:16 PM
Sounds good, thanks again.

I will be paid here in the next couple of days, so expect an order from me sometime soon.

chub hubs! I came close to using one on my mavic build but those fuggers seem to have discontinued the silver or something.

GMJ
02-12-12, 11:23 AM
Chub hubs are sexy as ****. Still, I'd rather see some Dura Ace (7600 and 7710) hubs available on the site. Its not like I would be buying any soon since I just got my wheelset, just my suggestion.
