Is mayonnaise an instrument?

No, Patrick mayonnaise is not an instrument

*Patrick raises hand*

Horse radish isn't an instrument either

Damn, dude...is your mom ok?

The first round of DZRs will be here soon. We're going to try keeping a decent amount of stock but if you want to let me know what shoe/size/color you're after, I'll make sure it gets ordered.

Yeah.. It happened right in front of our porch. Got away with her purse.

Anyway, I am a 9 1/2, do you think I should size up or down? I need a shoe that won't give me a hot spot on the outer side of my toes because I have wide feet.

I also need a shoe that will last. Ever pair of Vans that I buy, the area in the heel gets ripped up, and I always some how find cuts in random places. I was thinking the Minna would be great, because it doesn't look like it'll have that hotspot that bottom of the tongue gives me. (<-- Don't really know how to explain it.)

I've been hearing DZRs run a little big and people commonly size down a half-size but with wide feet it may be a different story. I wear a size 12 in Vans - but my feet are wide and flat too - and I'm waiting until our DZRs arrive to see if I'd be better with the 11.5

Angie said the soles on hers are stiff enough where the cleat is to not cause any hot spots at all with her Shimano M-530 pedals but flex enough in the center to be very walkable. Hers are also made really well. I go through Vans like a mother****er so it will be pretty easy to make a comparison once I get them on my feet and spend some time on the bike with them.

Sorry to hear about your mom. Hopefully she isn't too shaken up over it. Do you live in a rough area? You may need to go all 'Gran Turino' on those punks' asses and take back the 'hood.

I wear a 13 in normal shoes ordered 13 in DZRs. They've never felt too big. They're pretty wide too so I think that's probably why they feel big to some people.

I usually wear a 9 1/2 or 10 in regular shoes (including vans) and I settled on size 43 dzr midnights. No hot spots for my flippers either.

calv
03-07-12, 11:24 AM
Alright, I'll get a size 9 then, 43.

And no surprisingly she isn't that shook up, she showed up to work like nothing happened the next day. I'd say my mom took it like a trooper, she actually said she was getting angrier at how dumb this wannabe thug was.

You can SAY we "don't" live in a bad neighborhood, but I think it's total bull****. We have hoodlums everywhere, Oakland has been getting worse and worse.

I wanted to get into recreational shooting anyways, so this kind of pushed me to just go through with buying my first firearm; I invested in this:

I also plan on getting a .357 magnum to keep at the house. I feel so bad that I was here in Davis for school and I couldn't be there to rip the guys face off.

Absolutely. I've jumped on your two other deals when you put them out. I blame you for excessive pedal/strap combos already, what's one more.

hipster products!

how's that mash stem look in person? I really like it, but it's hard to justify it being more expensive than a Thomson in my head

your stem/bars are cheaper than anywhere else. I grabbed the bars a while back, still haven't used them :|

You're killing me scrod.... you're killing me.... I might have to add something to the bell I set up I'm getting through you guys; soooooo.... are you going to be stocking the gazzettas anytime soon?

Scrodzilla
03-09-12, 10:04 AM
Probably not the Gazettas (does anyone even buy those?) but we do have a few Histograms and Bolts on hand. I just haven't had time to get them up on the site!

Dude, I can't find that Soma bell anywhere. Do you want my brown VO one?

It's really nice - like a smoother, more polished (and less clunky) Thomson.

People do buy those.... but yeah, I think they would be best staying special order or something considering how much the soda can frames are overshadowing them massively...

I'll just get the mount then, plus/ minus the bars; I'm really determined to get that exact bell.

Wow that stem is expensive!

Wait a minute, the mash bars are 31.8 clamp; scrod you have them listed as 25.4... ;)

Oh yeah since we're talking about the bars, would you mind giving me the circumference of the ergonomic area of the bars? (At the center and near the ends)

If I get these bars I'm going to find it difficult for myself to wrap over the cin elli etched into the bars.. =/

It was a typo. It's fixed. I'll measure when I get a chance.

edit: it's just about 45mm wide x 18mm thick.

They also seem like they'd be the most comfortable 'horns on the planet.

Scrodzilla

I would never. ddeadserious is putting some on his though. :)

I can just tell by holding the and placing my palms on them as they would be when riding that they'd be mad comfortable.

Thanks for the info scrod; one last bit; are the nitto plugs compatible with them? And an ETA on a restock on the black pairs? [Oh nuh you didunt; DATS RACIST]

Scrodzilla
03-09-12, 01:10 PM
They are compatible. The black Nitto plugs sem reallly hard to find right now though. We did just get in a bunch of nice Soma alloy plugs that have no logos on them:

Sorry, We've been doing a ton of wheel builds and things have been nuts at the shop. I'll order more tomorrow and have them here Friday.

Jaytron

I came here to let you know that the Deda Pista bars are 42cm, but outside to outside, which typically translates into a 40cm. But you already mentioned that on your site. GG

Side question, how are Nitto's bars typically measured?

The biggest I've gone is a 32 rear/28 front. You may be able to squeeze a 32 in front depending on the tire.

OK that's the same as my present frame I can live with that now I just need a job....BTW 32 tires with a guard layer are closer to 34
