Trying to keep retail down on these - 50 bucks or below.
I like the sound of that... Thanks for the info!
Oh man, should I get black, or charcoal grey? That's the question!

The black looks nice, but who knows... the gray fabric may look great as well.
Yeah, I'm actually leaning toward the grey. Even though black always looks good, need some variation in my wardrobe. lol

Looks sweet, but I can't justify another wind breaker.
Any word on the Nitto RB 002s?
Well, I'm pretty sure everybody has been asking him about them (myself included), but it's the same old story and it sounds like he can't really do anything about it. His distributor keeps saying they're coming, but apparently it's taking longer than it should.

Disappoint I bet his too; can't blame him then.

Our distributor told me that a lot of stuff coming out of Japan is delayed (for obvious reasons).
Leuky - sorry I missed your last PM.

Weird, it works when I click it.
Apologies for not getting those jackets up on the site. They're in stock but this past week/weekend has been incredibly hectic. They'll be up early this coming week.
dk2ck - sales on them stopped after a while so we took them off the site. We can still get them so let me know if you want one.

Man oh man, if there was only some sort of windbreaker I could be wearing today for a ride that would be awesome...

Have you considered doing something like free shipping on domestic orders over $50 or $75 or $100 or $xxxx?
Scrodzilla
05-10-11, 07:17 AM
We have but as of right now, the e-commerce hosting site that we run our site through is only capable of calculating percentage discounts. Supposedly an option for free shipping discounts is in the works.

Cool. And I've still been checking back every day for those bars! Well, I don't have any income right now... but come May 23...
Any thoughts on stocking porteur bars?
edit: And dammit, get them jackets in so I can buy!

That's it, man. The 40 pairs we made were way too much work. Those knickers are history!

Sorry didn't mean to offend (note that I didn't suggest you give them away). But if you're not going to make any more, just figured you could get some return on the R&D.

Just got back from a nice ride with my Calv. It was MUCH better than riding in a sweater or suit coat like I am used to. When I got too hot i unzipped the front a bit loosened the sleeves for some nice air flow. This is going to be the perfect jacket for spring / fall riding. Kept my camera in the front breast pocket which did get some condensation so I left it a bit unzipped to compensate.
TL;DR
I rode farther, faster, and made love longer, get one.
Just ordered the Noodles (lol) and a black medium Calv. 106 bucks flat!

ETA on hipbags?
Man, these straps are too hard to get into, haha. Every time I open them up big enough to get a good fit, they slide forward and won't go in because there's too much slack. When I tighten them, still hard to get into but still retains it's form and doesn't allow me to get my foot in deep enough.
What do I doooo... I tried making the front tighter than the rear, and I also tried criss-crossing the ends of the straps when tightening them.. Doesn't seem to work.

How work?
I don't know man, I feel like it's too flimsy.. I flip my pedal over and the straps just move forward and doesn't really let my foot in.. Probably just the pedals since they're a little small or something.
Scrodzilla
05-16-11, 05:56 PM
You've got track pedals right? They are a little top heavy when used on Sylvans and similar smallish pedals. Larger platform-type pedals cause the lower straps to spread out a bit and takes the slack out of them.
Yeah I'm on GR-9's.
I'll probably put on clips and straps until I get a chance to buy platforms.

Dude... I just got the 'Calv' in the mail yesterday and I love it! Unfortunately, I over-gaged the size and the medium is too big for me. Is the small substantially smaller than the medium?

How limited are the Calvs, Scrod? I feel like possibly jumping on the bandwagon! They seem quality.
