I'll be ordering a seatpost and stem from you on Friday/Saturday. Could you tell me what the length of the setback portion of the Thomson 250mm 27.2 post is? I need to make sure I'm not screwing myself on height, otherwise I'll have to get a Supertype.

It's about 80mm.

How would I go about ordering a 17T EAI Deluxe Cog in 1/8"? I remember you didn't carry that size and only had 17T in 3/32", and I also remember seeing that you can get other sizes. I also wanted to order some other stuff along with that.
EDIT: Nevermind, just checked, and you now have 17T 1/8" cogs in. Just placed the order! ;)
Jeez, Scrod- I swear everytime I go on your site I see new products. Way to go. :thumb:

Got any silver 5mm spacers on hand? I probably need like 3.
Scrodzilla

Yeah. I keep meaning to put spacers of various sizes up on the site because everyone asks for them. I'll try to get them up there today.

If you don't get a chance to toss them on the site tonight, can you just invoice me for them, the 27.2 silver Thomson 250mm setback seatpost, and a 100mm +-10 silver Thomson X2? I'm sure you've proably got better things to do than work internet orders on a Saturday.

Hey Scrod, for the Eighthinch 144BCD Cranks, on your site it says that they use a 107mm JIS bottom bracket, but on Eighthinch's site, it says 110 ISO bottom bracket. Just letting you know.

This has been discussed right here in this thread. If you go back a few pages, you'll find a pic I took of the box - which says it uses a 107mm BB.
I e-mailed EighthInch about which is correct and got no reply. They're a pretty weird company to deal with.

08-10-12, 06:11 PM
Didn't see that! I remember emailing them a while ago when they told me about those cranks, and they even said it will use a 107mm JIS bottom bracket. Weird that it says differently on their site now, haha. Oh well.

I have no idea what's up with them. I'm still waiting for a bunch of stuff we ordered over three weeks ago to show up and can't even get a tracking number from them.
PeDDeR27
08-10-12, 06:36 PM
Wow! That's the worst when you are expecting something and there's no tracking number, and it doesn't arrive when expected.

when i was curious about the steerer on my scrambler being kinda short i emailed them a few times and got no sort of reply either, even wheel & sprocket had nothing to say
PeDDeR27
08-10-12, 10:53 PM
That's weird, because when I received the fork with my scrambler, the brake hole was drilled way too low, so I emailed them with a picture and they sent out a replacement right away.

I want a set of lightweight, durable 32h wheels in silver. I'd love it if they weighed in close to the Wabi set. What would you recommend?

electric blue b43 - 36h rim: do they exist? can you get them?
I don't think they make the B43 in "electric blue" but they do make them in drillings up to 48h and in regular blue.
edit: Dave I know you said special orders had to be made before 4 today, but if I order a Thomson X4, can you get me a 90mm with 10 degree rise instead of 0? (That's all you have listed for that length and color)

I have no idea what exists and what doesn't when it comes to Velocity these days. They've become a bit of a **** show to deal with when it comes to stock.

It amazes me how they seem to have completely fallen apart after moving their supply line. You'd think they would've had that **** sorted out before ramping up production in the new factory. Then again, I'm not a wheel manufacturer, so what the hell do I know?
Will the Excel ever come back?

Hey Scrod, thought on the eighthinch cranksets?
do you have just the front bolt thingy for a front brake that you would sell? My front rack attaches at a point to the front brake, but I want to put it on my brakeless bike so need something to hold it steady
also that back side of the rear brake, surprise, one wasn't sent with my BD order, so I'm looking for one of those too. it's the threaded nut part I'm referring to, if that makes any sense. have no idea of the proper name. I want to pick up some pedals I think for the sale ends tonight so if you have them let me know

scrod, just shot an email to H+Son. They don't make 24h silver FF's, said they're only available in black. So I have a question, what is the on the black FF's? Cause I can strip and polish one myself.

They're anodized and have a semi-rough texture. Good luck!
