Scrodzilla

We're still working on getting some hubs with lower spoke counts. Hopefully I'll be able to figure something out and will have them up on the site soon!

Those 32h KinLin build kits - as well as the rims sold separately in some lower spoke counts - are live on the store. We've added a couple of spoke upgrade options as well. Hopefully we'll get some lower spoke count hubs and have more complete kit options soon!

Not sure if it's mentioned earlier in the thread...do you build all the wheels yourself?

Scrodzilla
06-14-11, 08:02 AM
Somewhere down the line we will be offering wheel builds but these are just build kits - you get all the necessary parts to build them yourself.

Ah, gotcha. I totally misunderstood.

I love the new I806A V2 fork! It wouldn't look super weird on a 721, would it?

Edit: is this the new slightly cheaper carbon fork we were talking about? The I806A is listed as being Aluminum.

Scrodzilla
06-14-11, 08:14 PM
Not at all. It's made for the Leader aluminum frames and has an oversized crown to match the head tube. You may want to wait a few more days though.......

Cyclones? Unfortunately, they look better than they are.

Lilcphoto

Dissapointing, but understandable... I do think they look quite lovely.

Actually, that's all just hearsay and I've yet to actually ride one. Even though they look really fancy, they're probably on par with typical Formulas and whatnot.

I should build up a set one of these days and see what they're all about.

Does 61cm just not sell? Notice nothing from leader has 61cm anymore :(

Eagerly awaiting new forks :D

Only the 722TS and 721TR are available in 61cm. Should we stock them?

YES! I will most likely be buying my 721 from Coghouse but I would be much more willing to give my cash to you.

Hang tight...the release of the 2011 721 is happening really soon.

I personally don't need another frame but others might I dunno. I bought a 721 last year and really really like it. It just sucks that it looks like they are getting away from making any of their new frames in larger sizes. I see some of their old discontinued road/tri frames on ebay from time to time made in crazy ass sizes like 63 or 65cm. I honestly think I could go a larger than a 61 but definitely not down to a 58 w/o having a mile high seatpost.

Scrodzilla
06-15-11, 09:11 PM
They did away with the 49cm frames for 2011 too because they just weren't selling. It leaves a few people out but I can understand it from a business standpoint.

that fork is so sexy. everytime I see them I kick myself for ordering a frame with a 1" headtube

Scrodzilla
06-18-11, 11:12 AM
Don't kick yourself too hard. Because of the oversized crown, it would look weird on a bike with a standard-sized head tube anyway.

Scrod, I would be interested in a 61cm 721 or 722

The I806-TR fork would look wonky with the 722ts? Maybe? I remember some guy here had a green 722ts with one.. Was thinking of maybe going that route in a year or two.

Scrodzilla

The carbon fork designed to be used with the 722 is the S805:

Besides, the I806TR is discontinued for 2011.

why'd they discontinue the i806tr? i just put in the order for the i105tr and am psyched to have something for the ftp that is the proper rake. feeling seriously good.

Gotta free up some cash, though.
