I know what I need, but I dont know how this is going to work for me... Im not going to be home for most of the day tomorrow... Dammit.
So If we want to buy multiple items, would we have to check out multiple times?
Same here, tomorrow is my busy day.
And I'm assuming anything we get will be totaled into one purchase at the end.

That seems difficult logistically.

So we pay shipping for every purchase and then it gets refunded later?

awesome! thanks Scrod
don't hate me
do you have any 8mm long chainring bolts? the ones I was using were 7mm and too short, longest I can find local or ebay is 6.5 without using alloy problem solvers or double ring bolts.
if not, any idea of the length of omnium bolts? was thinking of trying those since I remember them being pretty long

 Why won't you just get double bolts?

Jesus ****ing Christ, dude. It's really not that difficult.
it isn't. I know what I need and was seeing if you sold any..
Dave, do you know of any framesets that are 53 c-t and has an effective TT of ~525? Steel or Aluminum are both OK.
edit: Seems like the 52cm Vigorelli is pretty close.. but thats...

Rum Runner
soma rush is extremely close to that
Hmmm, both of those are pretty acceptable choices, but both of them offer a 51cm with a 525 TT. 1cm isn't that big of a deal, but I want to see if there are any frames that actually have a slightly shorter top tube than seat tube.

I'm debating between aerohead to novatec w/ lasers and those at400 to novatecs you have. On paper they look pretty similar other than the big price difference. The only things I'm noticing is straight gauge spokes and a different brand rim. The AT400 looks like it weighs almost exactly what an Aerohead does and I like its eyelets. Is there much reason to pick one over the other?
One other question: You say they come in black also but there isn't a pic on the site yet. All black everything or is there some silver on there? Do they have the silver machined braking surface?
Thanks!
Re-asking this since it got lost back there
Scrodzilla

The AT400 rims weigh about 10g more per rim. The black ones have a machined sidewall and silver eyelets.
Aeroheads are awesome but if you're a bigger guy, I'd choose something else.

Also thinking about aeroheads, does 150 count as big? I do a lot of wheelies though...

I'm 165 and was wondering the same thing. I'm really gentle with my wheels though and don't ride off curbs / over potholes.

I ride Aeroheads on a road bike and I weigh ~185 lbs currently. 32h rear and 28h front with Sapim Race spokes. No issues whatsoever, but I'm just riding the bike. No funny stuff.

Thanks! The frame got passed from one friend to another and finally to me. No one wanted to mess with the rust issues on the horrible 90s fade job.

I'm not sure which paint job you're referring to as horrible, but it certainly can't be the purple/pink one.

It was indeed horrible as it was applied without proper preparation; that's a fact. My opinion is that it was pretty ugly, but that's just my opinion.

Seriously the only straps you should ever buy if you aren't riding clipless or BMX/strap combo.

Hey Scrod I've been riding 25 Conti Harshells all summer on my kilo TT pro but because of the famous tire clearance on the bikes I was forced to play with the wheel until I has just a 2 mm gap on the brakes. Anyways.....is there a better bang for your buck tire in 23 or should I just get 23 Hard shells? Preferred to buy from you
Scrodzilla
12-04-12, 09:39 AM
Gator Hardshells are awesome but a lot of people have a lot of trouble with the sidewalls falling apart (although I think this is mainly aesthetic and does nothing to the integrity of the tire).
If you're happy with the Hardshells, you could always just get a 23 for the front and keep the 25 in the back - assuming you're only having clearance issues with your fork.

Yo dog! Got all my stuff today, thanks.
My last Thomson stem didn't come with the carbon assembly paste, so I'm assuming you hooked it up? Thanks!
Also, just hit me. You said Angie finished the front wheel. Any chance you weighed it?
Thanks man!

I may have some little packets of carbon paste. If so, I'll throw one in when I ship your wheels.
Once both wheels are built, I'll weigh them and give you the details.
