j/w: do leader frames come chased and faced?
They're good to go right out of the box.
Nice! I thought about the mid but for that much cheaper the new clamp doesn't matter for me. What color did you get?
Black. To follow in my favorite leader rider, massa... rud... scrodzilla's, footsteps

That's what I'm planning on getting. I think the black looks better. Here comes the obligatory...

Hey Scrod, when do you think you'll have the hipbag in stock?
Scrodzilla
07-15-11, 04:29 AM
I know I keep saying "soon" but we kept having issues with one of our sewing machines - which is the main machine used to make the shell of the bags (and our pedal straps). Production is up and running again so we're hoping not much longer. Sorry for the wait!

Alrighty sounds good. My lady really wants a hipbag and I believe your's the best bang for the buck.
scrod doesn't like money. I actually was about to give up waiting and grab an overpriced bag today but this bump has left me with hope!
Thinking about ordering a couple items, but then noticed shipping is extraordinarily high at $18.50. Mistake or is it really that much shipped ?
Scrodzilla
07-15-11, 07:10 PM
For which items?
cromo cog, alloy risers, v1.5 pedal/strap combo, and oury grips
Scrodzilla
07-15-11, 07:19 PM
Based on the size of the box needed to ship the risers and the weight of all the items combined, that's a pretty reasonable charge for Priority Mail to CA.
Also, stuff on our site is priced really low and we live in a world where boxes, packing material and people's time cost money.

Okay, is no one else seeing Scrods signature as just 2 Photobucket Bandwidth exceeded signs?

It's really weird. I upgraded my account but every now and again all my images show up as that stupid "bandwidth exceeded" image.

They'll be back soon. We're working on getting those Novatec track hubs with lower spoke counts.

I didn't mean to sound abrasive in any way, I'm just telling it like it is. Most people don't think about those things when ordering something online.

ive done hours of searching online, the only parts i didn't buy from retrogression were because they were vendor specific (velo orange etc). everything else retrogression was the lowest prices by far, and shipping seems to be pretty much the same everywhere. definitely much cheaper than the LBS around here too sad to say, but still has that "support your lbs" feel to it too.

Shims! (if by chance you have a 31.8 stem)
Anyhow these are totally worth buying another stem for. Seriously, rb 002's combine the best parts of numerous nitto bars; the best of all worlds.

received my order today, everything looks great, will post some pictures once i complete the build this weekend. couldnt help throwing the noodle on, very pleased with it/your prices/shipping etc. not that you need any more props on here but will definitely order again in the future (been eyeing the s75's for months because i'm vain but had to go with the pocketbook friendly rd2's this time around). develop a relationship with surly and i'd definitely buy a LHT this time next year.

Dangit! It may be an IE glitch. When I check it in Safari and Firefox, the dropdowns expand when clicked.

They all work fine over here if you haven't gotten around to iron out the kinks; I just tested it on IE 9 and I usually use firefox 5.
Good **** on the IRD headsets!
