Sureal really! At 55 years old, never thought I'd start cycling again and never thougt I would be blogging either!! Used to cycle a lot during my late teens (70's!!), but gave it up at University. Re-started a couple years back, to improve fitness level and to remove that mass of stuff, which rests on my cross bar and is embarrassingly exposed when I stand up in my tight lycra shirt!!

Came across "Bike Forums" after watching a TV programme about a guy (I think his name was Rob Penn) who traveled the world to build his bike by using the best components available. It reminded me of when I built my first road bike, and purchased a frame from a UK company called Clive Stuart. I was curious to learn about this company - whether it still existed etc, etc. I was amazed with all the communication related to the history of this company.

Anyway, that got me hooked and so I've now registered. Hope to speak to you all later - especially when I've lost that 30 pounds!!

Stuart
