Hey guys I'm looking to start looking at a new mountain bike. I'm looking at either a Kona Dawg or a Coiler and a Santa Cruz Heckler. There is a place that sells Kona here in Austin, Tx. But I can't get the dealer finder on the Santa Cruz website. Does know one know of a place in the Austin area to look at Santa Cruz?

Also, What do ya'll think about the Dawg and Coiler compared to the Heckler? I'd love the opinions.

Depends on what you want in a bike.

If you cannot find a dealer in your area it may be easier for you to deal with Kona as far as customer service. Santa Cruz provides below average customer service to individuals or bike stores that don't sell alot of bikes for them.

As far as the bike i would think the Heckler would be a better bike all around, plus you can choose different component packages for all Santa Cruz bikes which is very convenient.

Good luck in your decision, i'd say if you find a dealer that carries Santa Cruz i'd say go for the Heckler. If you can't maybe avoiding a possible warranty headache might lean you towards Kona. There are other great trailbikes out there as well Turner 5 spot, Intense 5.5 if you got alot of money to spend, Specialized Enduro if you wanna save a few bucks.

Haven't ridden all the bikes (I've got a Blur), so I can't really provide an opinion.

lol thanks guys. I really want a all-mountain bike. Im riding a hardtail Gary Fisher right now. I have really been lookin into the Heckler and the Dawg and then found the Coiler, which seems to be an inbetween bike between the Dawg and Stinky. But I dont know if I need that much bike. The heckler is very awesome but so is the Dawg and Coiler. AHH! The choices. Thank god my life doesn't depend this decision
