Who are you cheering for? I'm a Packer's fan, but honestly very fair weather. I am a die hard Brewers fan and Badgers football/basketball fan.

I don't see what the big deal is over the StupidBowl.

It might end up being a snowball fight out in the parking lot.

I root for whoever has the score that matches the little boxes on the lotto board I picked for each quarter.

I like both but I'd like to see Aaron Rodgers win it and step out of Bret Favre's shadow once and for all.

You left out a category... Commercials. Most folks cheer for the commercials.

A bud and I have a friendly little wager going, and he picked the Steelers, so I took the Pack. No points, and loser buys a $2 bag of pre-mixed, barely alcoholic slush-drink (that actually tastes fairly decent).

I don't really even follow a particular team anymore -- there's a few I root AGAINST (Cincy, Dallas, Oakland), so whoever plays one of these teams is automatically my favorite for the week. (If Oakland plays Dallas, I will lift one finger to root for the Cowboys; either of these get my support against the Bungles.)

I just like seeing a good football game. Been kinda fortunate this year.....

I will be glad when it is over. That signals that pitchers and catcher report the following week. PLAY BALL!!! Go Rangers!!!

The Pack of course. I'm not as rabid as many Packer fans either.

Baseball has been dead to me since '93 (Robin Yount's last season). Get revenue sharing and, most importantly, an effective salary cap. The major leagues are anything but major. I'd rather watch a T-ball game.

Baseball has been dead to me since '93 (Robin Yount's last season).

'93 was a popular year to quit watching. After the strike shortened '94 season, no one paid attention until McGwire and Sosa's '98 HR race. That of course turned out to be a sham...

Born and raised in Dallas as a Cowboys fan, so I really cannot cheer for either team, but I will watch and will probably end up cheering for the Steelers, but it could go either way. On the fence right now. I am making buffalo wings, boil em beer, toss em on the grill, then into a bowl of 1/2 Franks Hot Sauce and 1/2 BBQ sauce. Now just have to decide if I will offer up carrots and celery and ranch and blue cheese or some combination there of.

FYI, bleu cheese is the authentic Buffalo dip.

I am a blue cheese man myself, but some prefer ranch. If you are in Dallas, stop by on Sunday.

If I go anywhere at all for the Super Bowl, it won't be north or east of downtown Fort Worth. Thanks for the invite, though. I *do* want to come out for a ride that way at some point.

Born and raised a Lions fan, I cheer anything that looks like competent football because it's not something I've seen enough of since Barry left us (or before for that matter).

Do you remember the old Guindon cartoon with the two guys in the bar, one saying, "Every year I want to be a Lions fan, but they just won't let me."? I loved that one.

Here in LA-Orange County we have no team. Most of us like it that way. Keep the money hungry bastards out of the public treasury! Paying to watch millionaires collide with other millionaires for the benefit of multimillionaires is asinine.

That's not a bad recipe. I parboil the wings and grill'em, although I know frying is authentic. Hard to pass up a grilling opportunity though.

Really! And how many people say the same thing about the TDF?
Just think how many folks, while flipping through channels come across the TDF on Versus. The conversation goes something like this:
1: Now that's really dumb, getting on a bicycle and riding up and down hills in Europe. Geez, what do they accomplish.
2: Yeah, and I hear their all on drugs, read it in a magazine while waiting in the doctor's office.
1: Really? Wow, now that's cool. Maybe I'll watch just to see the wrecks.

FAIL OF EPIC PROPORTIONS!!!!!! The wings turned out great. Steamed em for 15 minutes, let em rest in the fridge for an hour, then onto the grill until crisp and brown. Then tossed em in butter, garlic, wing sauce and bbq sauce mix, then into the crock pot to stay warm. Forgot to get the blue cheese dressing and carrot sticks out of the fridge, totally brain fart on my part.

Indeed. Even if their mics had worked throughout, it was just awful. I had a hard time deciding whether Fergie or Sheryl Crow did worse things to Sweet Child (also, what the hell? why was that even there?). On the one hand Fergie had Slash and lacked the violins, but at least Sheryl was able to (sort of) hold a tune when she did it. At least that Usher chap knows how to dance.
