What's the situation in Athens for bikes? Do they have bike paths? Would you suggest coming to Greece for a cycle tour?

unfortunatelly, there are very few bike paths here. Athens is a very crowded place and the space for bikes is very limited. You have to fight with cars to commute. I am lucky to live in an area that is very close to the mountain surrounding Athens and there i can go very easy.
