Classic & Vintage - Most common bb pin spanner I should purchase?

I am servicing cup and cone bottom brackets - I want to buy the most versatile tools needed, and I plan to make a fixed cup tool (Sheldon's article).

What isn't clear to me is which pin spanner and/or lockring tool I should buy that gives the most potential use?

I see that green SPA1 a lot on webpages, but don't know if that means it's the best one. The lockring tool looks pretty standard.

I use an adjustable one. Not bike specific. Can be found at any hardware store.

I don't have a picture at the moment. Maybe I'm mistaken on where I got it from. Sometimes my bike tools get mixed up with my dad's when I visit home.

I'm ready to be banished, but at home I use two nail punches for adjustable cups that have holes in them. I use the Park lockring tool (41-42 & 43-44 ends).

I used to use nail punches too! I have the green Park one now. In the shops, we've used the Var adjustable. Too $$$.
Last night, I took out a stubborn FRench fixed cup by using the Sheldon Brown tool but my socket didn't fit inside the bb. So I clamped down the fixed cup tool (Sugino) with the Sheldon Brown tool. Then I used a wood block and a hammer. Worked great.

I bought a cheap one, less than $5, from Harbor Freight a while back. I had to shave down the pins with a dremel a tiny bit. Works great for me.

I have a Sugino BB tool set, a Campagnolo combo pin and headset wrench and an SPA1. I find the SPA1 the most useful and versatile and can happily live without the others.

I use the adjustable Park pin spanner and VAR lockring pliers. Neither one is cheap, but I think they're worth it.

I have the Park Tool Adjustable Pin Spanner -SPA-6 (http://www.amazon.com/Park-Tool-Adjustable-Pin-Spanner/dp/B003RZPLCW). It goes on sale on Amazon every once in a while. I think I paid $10 with free shipping for mine.

Also, your sig line might be considered very offensive by quite a few people. You might want to think about changing that.
