Touring - Medium size handlebar bag for touring

I have a client that is touring Europe in about a month and is looking for suggestions. I need handlebar bag made from high quality materials , maybe Q/R systems to allow him to remove bag quickly , map holder etc. He doesn't want a really big handlebar bag but will entertain any good suggestion. Thank you.

Ortlieb's are very good, welded seams and a flap lid with overhang. keeps stuff dry. map case snaps off ..
Klickfix hardware is used on cotton canvas/leather bags from Carradice , and Berthould.
Detours and Rixen and Kaul them selves have sewn nylon bags using R&K's KF parts.

I don't keep the important stuff in my HB bag. instead,
I wore a Ortlieb made waterproof Money belt under my clothes for the Valuable stuff, ie Money, passport,
and debit/credit Cards.

I'm pleased with mine. Fast on, and fast off. The mounting may be a downside - essentially, there's a pair of straps looped around the hoods. They don't interfere or bother my hands at all, but I could see some people taking issue with it.

Arkel small bag.

I have an ortleib and it has worked fine. It has the quick release, is waterproof and can lock to my bike.

I have the Banjo Bros. waterproof bag (http://www.amazon.com/Banjo-Brothers-Waterproof-Quick-Release-Handlebar/dp/B003D4EYI4). It has a quick release, mesh side pockets, and comes with the map holder and shoulder strap included. It does not have a locking mechanism, which doesn't bother me since I never would leave it on the bike unattended anyway.

The exterior is made of 840 Denier fabric while the interior consists of a rigid Polymer liner which keeps belongings dry. I have had one for about 8 months and like it, however I have not toured with it yet or ridden in rain. I don't see any reason why it wouldn't keep belongings dry as advertised though. It's a good bag and appears well made.

Another plug for Ortlieb-- secure, dry, and durable

I like my Carradice. The Rixen and Kaul/Ortleib quick-release fitting is the one to go for. It is very quick, no faffing around with velcro or straps and totally secure so you can do descents on mountain trails.

Some cheaper mounts use a large plastic clamp to prevent rotation on the bar. R&K use a small piece of plastic-coated cable so their mount is very lightweight.
