I was very impressed with the shop and the guy that helped me. He was very knowledgable and full of enthusiasm. Knew all of the specs by memory. I could have talked to him all day but my 4 year old daughter and wife couldn't take more than about an hour. I will be going back when the ice is gone to ride a few of the bikes. The best and most friendly shopping experiance I've ever had.

You should post the stores name/location. Good service deserves a mention ;)

Try to go back without your wife and 4 year old next time. Probably best to worry about one thing (and person) at a time when shopping. <plus your wife won't nag you about the cost ;-)>

I don't really have anything contribute, but wanted to give a shout out to Joliet. Lived the first half of my life there. Would go back tomorrow if I could.

It is always good to hear about good experiences at the LBS. They keep you rollin' if you're not mechanically inclined.

I hit up my LBS at least twice a month in winter for opinions, stories, new products and to kill that hunger I have to be around bikes in the middle of a nasty Western NY winter. I talk to everyone...the LBS owner, sales people and the mechanics. I'm blessed to be so close in proximity to an old school LBS devoid of that big box store feel nowadays. If you're ever near Buffalo, NY stop in and give these guys a shout. Tom Lonzi is the owner. I've bought two Felt bikes from them over the years.

Ended up coming home with a Trek FX 7.3 today and I'm very happy. Already took her for a little ride. Wow, I'm out of shape! Look forward to many miles...
