The Christler(sic) models might have you saying "Oh,Christ!" to much. Chrysler maybe.
Check Edmonds.com for complaints.
Will you be getting free gas with that road slug?

I'd say it's only slightly more attractive than the Pontiac Aztec. If you really need a car like that, you're better off with a wagon or a minivan.

Chrysler is a company in transition. I like to think they'll succeed but they are probably the weakest of the Big 3. Their products have been lagging behind the industry in terms of quality and stuff for a while now. I rented a Pacifica on a business trip last year. It was a nice enough vehicle. Comfy inside. Not sure about long-term reliability though.
The question is, would you feel comfortable working on the transmission in the kitchen??
Seriously, though, why are contemplating purchasing?

It's not a bad looking car, however if you're looking for a vehicle with seating for 6, why not get a van?

hideous pile of mopar crap?
The view from the back seats of a Pacifica is abysmal at best, and after my experience with a Chrysler Concorde with the 2.7 litre sludge trap engine, not sure I will ever own another Chrysler product. Have someone drive you around in it, and see if you would want to spend much time in the back of it.

Don't buy a "Chrysler" under any circumstance.

It's an upmarket minivan. I've got a 2004 Dodge Caravan, bought used, which has been OK for the last couple years. It hasn't let me down except for the turn-signal stalk going south. That was a $400 repair.

It's a crossover, not a minivan. No sliding doors. (The Town & Country is the minivan with the Chrysler nameplate.)

There might be millions of them out there, but being a supergeneric minivan, you'd never notice.
I thought it was more in the lines of a station wagon/suv type thing.

It's a minivan that got squished a bit.

I just wish somebody would edit the title and correct the typo.

Not so fast Tex.Most "Christler" owners are found on the side of the road with the hood up saying,
"Jesus Christ!"
Besides,I like Rubes Ricky Ricardo accent:thumb:

I get the impression that the Pacifica's more Daimler than Chrysler, and that makes me nervous. My confidence in both car companies used to be boundless, but now, not.

I saw one of those things today. I maintain my status of, "I wouldn't hit it."

Stuff the Pacifica, go find an AMC Eagle Wagon:

Probably about the same in terms of reliability.
THX for the replies ... it wasn't for me, I like Hyundai's small parts that fit on my kitchen table. It was for somebody else. But the dealer jack up the price by a whooping 5k overnight because "they had another offer"... yeah right... deal is off.
I had an Aerostar once. I kept thinking it was a Hyundai and got stuck on several places. :p Till it stop working that is... like 3 months after I bought it. Looks like it was the "disposable" model from Ford.

Didn't you just describe like 90% of Ford's car-lineup that isn't sports? :p

I had an Aerostar before I got my Caravan. It ran. It was green. End of story. Eventually I donated it to the Humane Society... I hope they used it for a really big cat box.
